Summer Concert 2022
Our Summer Concert took place in the Pepper Cannister Church on Mount Street on May 29th. We were delighted to perform the beautiful Requiem in d by Rheinberger and Gerald Finzi’s “Seven Poems of Robert Bridges”.
Mozart’s Requiem
We had a wonderful concert and a full house on March 27th for our performance of Mozart’s Requiem in Monkstown Parish Church. Together with our friends from Co-Orch Dublin, Dún Laoghaire Choral Society and Encore Voices we performed in aid of the Irish Red Cross Ukraine Appeal. A huge thank you to our wonderful musical director Mr. John Doyle and to all the volunteers who made it such a fantastic event. The amazing soloists, Ms Bríd Ní Ghruagáin, Ms. Leah Redmond, Mr. Conor Prendeville and Mr. Redmond Saunders gave freely of their time and talent to make this a truly special and memorable occasion.
Thank you to everyone who supported our first annual Table Quiz in the teachers Club on Friday 11th October.
We had a great evening this year at Culture Night Dublin where we performed at Bernardo Square and Cows Lane.
In advance of our two performances on Bloomsday 2018 here is an interesting web post about musical references in James Joyce’s masterpiece.
